April 20 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
$15.00 – $35.00*Seats are filling up quickly. RSVP today to secure your spot!
If you’re like many modern adoptive families, you’ve made your child’s adoption story part of their everyday life. But by age 13, every adoptee should be able to tell their FULL story — the good, the bad, and the touchy, too.
In this class, you will meet other adoptive families and learn how to talk to your adopted child about their story. Specifically, we will cover:
- How the impact of being adopted typically shows up at this age
- How to equip your child for the questions they may be asked about their story
- What kind of responses you should expect from your adoptee
- Considerations as you get closer to the teen years
